ETTL Engineers & Consultants Inc. is well equipped, by virtue of experience, personnel and equipment, to be of service to landfill operators in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and adjoining regions. A multi-discipline organization, ETTL utilizes and coordinates engineers, geologists, chemists and biologists, as well as construction professionals, to handle a wide range of landfill projects. As back-up for its staff in serving landfills , ETTL owns a full fleet of rigs for subsurface exploration, as well as associated geotechnical, geological/hydrogeological, environmental, and construction materials engineering equipment for field use. In addition, we have comprehensive geotechnical and materials-testing laboratories, including two mobile labs for on-site testing, as well as a fully equipped, modern analytical laboratory for a complete range of environmental and waste identification tests.
And, to maximize its analytical services for landfill clients, ETTL has developed the LandStar Services Program, a sampling, testing and computer database service especially designed to meet landfill ground-water monitoring needs.
In other words, ETTL offers services across the board for landfill operators, such as: geotechnical soil borings and analyses; installing piezometers, monitoring wells, methane monitoring probes, and collection systems; conducting hydrogeological investigations; performing chemical analyses of ground-water samples; carrying out soil stratigraphic studies and environmental site assessments when new or expanded landfills are in order; doing CQA services for both clay and synthetic liners, as well as preparing SLER and FLMER reports; and performing many other such services. Our two-fold goal is to help operators build environmentally sound landfills and help them make sure they are keeping abreast of - and are in compliance with - all pertinent governmental regulations.
