ETTL Subsurface Exploration Services for Landfills

ETTL offers landfill operators - as well as all of its other clients - a full fleet of truck-mounted drilling rigs and associated vehicles for field investigations. These rigs are capable, depending on the unit, of providing hollow stem and conventional auger drilling and rotary drilling to 375 feet, and continuous sampling of soils in 2 and 5 foot intervals to depths of 300 feet. At right, samples are collected by a wireline sampler.

In addition, ETTL offers its landfill clients the capabilities and economies of a Model 5400 truck-mounted hydraulically-powered Geoprobe percussion-probing machine which can swiftly and economically collect soil cores and soil gas samples, as well as take ground-water samples without the need for installing monitoring wells, though it also can be used for actual monitoring well installations. And then, for especially difficult terrains, ETTL also offers its Ardco articulating drill buggy.

The Company's field drilling staff includes licensed drillers as well as highly trained helpers. All drilling personnel have completed the OSHA 40-hour classroom 29 CFR 1910.120 Personal Protection Safety Course.
