The Program Linker is a set of modules for integrating a custom database application with various other applications and documents . Users can open, edit, print, and view the files without any risk to the originals. 

The modules provide a way to register graphic images, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, AutoCad drawings, HTML files, and other files. These documents can be standalone or linked to database records. When opened by a user, the associated programs are opened from within the database application for user viewing, printing, or processing. The files can be the originals or copies for master file protections. When the user completes their operation, they return to the database application where they left off.

The Program Linker modules can be combined with the Sales Tracking , Contact Manager, Membership Manager and other  modules. 

Examples of available applications that have used the Program Linker  include storing pet pictures in Pet Clinic databases, providing pictures in slide image library databases, and performing Word merge in membership databases.
