CTech System Logger

(Allows trunk system airtime accumulation.)

Introduction- Motorola trunk systems do not offer a built-in dispatch airtime accumulator; that is why CTech was created. The CTech System Logger will accumulate airtime for each individual unit that has dispatch, interconnect, or private conversation airtime. It operates on 800MHz, 900MHz, Other Band Trunking, Typel, TypeII and Hybrid Motorola trunk systems. It is available in models that can be located at your billing office and also models that can be directly wired into your Motorola analog central controller. With CTSave from Genesis, you can view real time trunk system activity from any system, anywhere!

We are proud of the track record the CTech System Logger has had over the past decade. The CTech Logger was the first of its kind on the market. It allowed the early trunking operators the ability to see what was happening on their system in real time as well as accumulated time used by mobiles. The CTech System Logger has been in use around the world to track dispatch, interconnect, and private conversation time usage on Motorola 800MHz, 900MHz, and Other Band trunking systems. This makes the CTech System Logger a world leader!

Basic CTech System Logger Feature Overview- The CTech System Logger is the most popular Motorola trunked system logger in all the world. The logger is operating in every major market in the US and in several foreign countries. Some use the CTech to bill customers for dispatch as well as telephone airtime. Some use the unit as a diagnostic tool to catch fraudulent users. Others are using the CTech to simply watch the real time activity on their system for traffic management. The logger can accumulate system data for up to a month on even the largest 28 channel TypeI, TypeII, and Hybrid Motorola trunk systems before a download is needed. The CTech provides both a real time display and a totalized output that tells you which unit talked how many minutes. The logger can, through the real time display, eliminate many potential problems associated with a Motorola trunk system. Without a logger, you have no way of knowing how the system is operating in real time. The CTech SYSTEM LOGGER is created and manufactured by CTech Logging Systems of Bakersfield, California. It is being marketed worldwide by The Genesis Group.

Brief Feature List-

Compatibility- Systems: TypeI, TypeII, and Hybrid Analog Motorola Bands: 800MHz, 900 MHz and Other Band Trunking Radios: The Local version is compatible with Mostar, Traxar, Maxtrac or Spectra radios. Each logger is programmed with your frequencies, fleet map and other information. We at Genesis do the initial programming of your Ctech logger (here's Kari McDaniel, Genesis Quality Care, programming a logger for Argentina). If you change any key information (like the frequencies and the fleet map), we have a quick and unique way to update your logger, while it is in the field. This keeps things fool proof and keeps quality high.

Operating Hardware Information- CTech System Logger is hardware. It comes in two different versions- (1) The Billing Center Version. For the Local (Billing Center) Version, a dedicated Motorola Mostar, Traxar, Maxtrac, Spectra, or GTX radio is used to monitor the control channel of your trunk system. This can be done from anywhere you can receive a control channel. Typically this is done at the office where billing is done. This radio will have a minor modification done to bring internal data to the back connector. This can either be done in the field or by the factory (either CTech or Genesis). If the customer decides to have a shop in the field do the modification to the radio, it will take 30 minutes. The logger is powered from the DC supply that powers the radio. The desk top unit is 8.5"W x 1.5"H x 10.5"D.

(2) The Direct Connect Version The logger is a stand-alone unit built for a standard 19" rack mount panel (19"W x 1.5"H x 10.5"D). For the Direct Connect version, the logger is located at the trunk system site. It attaches directly to the Central Controller to compile the data it needs. Power for the logger comes from the 12VDC supply built into the central controller. Communication to the logger is done via any standard communications software such as EzSaveII, Procomm, CTSave and others. The direct connect CTech Logger can be purchased with a utility software program that allows the operator to view the real time activity and real time busies (keep reading...).
