![]() Jeff & Trisha Richardson
I received my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from The University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) and have spent my career at Entergy Corporation as a control systems design engineer specializing in computer networks and SCADA systems for Arkansas Nuclear One. My projects primarily deal with computer networks, data acquisition systems and control systems. My latest project was selected as one of three finalists in the Process Control Category of the 1997 Microsoft/ComputerWorld WindowsWorld Open Competition. I am presently working on a Master's Degree in Business Administration from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I am also working on my Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification. In addition to these endeavors, I am a part of the West Side Church of Christ in Russellville, Arkansas. I am an active Bible class teacher (see some of my lessons), a member of the Missions Committee, and a supporter of our campus ministry at Arkansas Tech University. I've developed web sites for my church and all its many ministries (including the CHRISTeens Youth Forum, the Missions Committee, the Care Center, and the campus ministry at ATU). I also do some programming and Internet consulting. But there's - hopefully, anyway - more to me than my career. First and foremost in my life is my spirituality. I know God exists and is a personal, loving God. I know that because he is loving, he has revealed himself to us in myriad ways - his creation - the uniformity and diversity of nature, the beauty of the cosmos, the ever-unfolding discoveries of science that continue to proclaim his existence and his nature to us; and his word embodied in the person of Jesus Christ, God's perfect son - no clearer image of God has been revealed than Jesus; no greater revelation will come; no finer defense of God's love awaits us. I know that God has called me to a life of joy and humility and service to others. Each day I hope I live up to the calling. And directly following my commitment to God is my commitment to my family. My wife Trisha and my daughter Molly are the light of my life! I love being a husband and a dad! Poetry, art, literature and music are my great interests.
