Professional Experience

Administration, including all phases from installation to full operation, of simple and complex VMS clusters. Was instrumental in the migration of all software and hardware from the VAX platform to the AXP platform while at the same time migrating from an HSJ cluster configuration to a SCSI (HSZ) cluster configuration. Managed the resources of a large (400 device) Ethernet Local Area Network. Designed and implemented new wiring scheme for plant Ethernet Terminal Server and 10base-2 network. Configured, implemented and managed helpdesk call tracking and monitoring software. Expert in Digital Command Language (DCL). Re-organized 2 tape libraries to be low maintenance and simple to use. Was instrumental in writing Disaster Recovery Plan at my last 3 sites.
