JAMES EVERHART and OTHERS to SARAH LOGAN Registered February 19, 1881, at 11, A.M.

Whereas, by descent from William Stewart, we the undersigned James Everhart, William A. Everhart, Lusinda Lenard, James Everhart, Sarah J. Everhart together with others have devised title to and now hold an undivided interest in a tract or parcal of land lying and being in the State of Tennessee county of Hawkins and Civil District No. 15 (fifteen) joining the lands of Aaron Mooney, John Bacon, and others, known as the tract of land on which the said William Stewart lived last before his death, and on which his widow, Sarah Logen, formerly Sarah Stewart, now lives, containing by estimation one hundred and ten acres, be the same wise as cros. Now we have bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey all our right, title and interest in and to said land to the said Sarah Logan, formerly Sarah Stewart, widow of the said William Stewart, Deceased, and her heirs forever for the sum of eight dollars and thirty three and one third cents to each of us paid. To have and to hold the same to the said Sarah Logan and her heirs and assigns forever, and we covenant and agree for ourselves, our heirs and representations to warrant and forever defend the title to our undivided interest in said land against any claim to be made by us or any persons claiming through us under us but no further. This November the 16th 1880.

Hawkins County } Personally appeared before me, Jo. R. Armstrong, Clerk of the County Court of said County, J. C. Louderback and A. J. Bryant, subscribing witensses to the within Deed who being first sworn deposed and said that they are acquainted with the within named Bargainers and that they respectively acknowledged the same in their presence to be their act and deed upon the day it has dated. Witness my hand at office in Rogersville this 19th day of February A.D. 1881.
