I bought my first camera in 1980, just after my 9th birthday. Since then, I have engaged in photography as a hobby, and now as a part-time profession. My knowledge of photography is all self-taught.
Over the years I have worked in many capacities. From 1993 - 1997, I served as an Officer in the U.S. Army Field Artillery. I like to tell people that the Army brought me to Texas, and I kept me here. Currently, I reside in Tyler, Texas. In July, I will relocate to Houston, to attend Law School.
As an image photographer, I focus my efforts in photographing the landscape and nature of Texas, specifically State Parks and more specifically, Caddo Lake. You can view some of my images online.
