Home - Hi! I'm Rule Smith. You found my home page. I have a home page for two reasons. First, I enjoy tinkering around with this kind of stuff because I'm an internet addict. And second, I'm single!! :_( There's bound to be a girl out there who's right for me, I just know it! *sniffle*

I have some good links here for some stuff I found handy to bookmark for some of us web browsers. And like I said, I'm another bachelor out there on the net. A lonely guy looking for his Miss Right! So, if she stops by here (hopefully), then I've got some pictures and info about me that she's been looking for, all right here!

I've also made an art gallery page so you can see some impressive 3D artwork my brother (August) made using combinations of Ray Dream Designer, Adobe Photoshop, Poser and Bryce.

Rule Smith (pics & info!) - Ok, what's the use of having a home page, unless you have a link explaining who you are? Well, it's all in here if you're interested! There are lots of pictures of me in there too. It's always nice to put a name with a face. ;-)

Free animated buttons - Rule's FREE Animated Button Gifs Page. I've made a few animated buttons here that you might like to have! :-) Also, I have a sample here of the JavaScript I used to make those On/Off Buttons in my "View Finder" over there to the left of my page. Feel free to play around with the JavaScript to make neat buttons for YOUR homepage! :-)

August art (my brother) - And all this time, you thought "August" was a month! Nope!!! It's my brother's name! ;-) What the heck am I laughing about? I've got a weird name too! hehehe... But at this site I created, you can see what kind of work can be done when a Macintosh and a creative person like August make contact. This link is loaded with jpeg and gif files of his artwork to explore! Even a few animated gifs that he did. Way cool!!! It's highly recommended that you stop by. You won't be sorry! :-)

my midi music page - This is a fun link I put out there of a lot of fun midi music that I enjoy! There's a good variety of some fun music in there. Be careful! You could spend a lot of time in there listening to the stuff! You just click and play. :-)

communicate on-line - The internet is more useful than just e-mail. At this link, I've placed sites that let you find a friend, chat with them, or even talk over the internet to them like a phone call.

www search engines - Well, there are tons of other search engines out there, and you probably don't need me to tell you where they are, but just in case, I listed a few good ones here.

web design - Are you wanting to make a home page and don't know how? Have you been looking for animated buttons? Info on Java Applets and JavaScript? Are there just a lot of questions you need to read about? Well, this link I created might help. I listed plenty of places to go in order to help you out! I also have a site where I've created free animated button gifs. Go there and grab them for free if you'd like! sports / dallas cowboys - I've got a few sports oriented sites here, but I'll be honest, these are sites of interest from a Dallas Cowboys fan point of view! In which I am one! Go Cowboys!!!!

macintosh links - Do you own a Macintosh? Then these sites would be of interest to you. I own a Macintosh clone. A PowerWave 604/150. My next computer is GOING to be a Mac!!! Trust me, once you go Mac.... you WON'T go back! ;-) My brother August and I were watering at the mouth, just waiting until the prices drop on the Macintosh G3's!!! Of course, my bro beat me to it. He's running a G3 now. :_( Ok, most of ya'll out there are probably running some type of IBM type computer, but for those of you priveleged people out there on Macs.... I added this link. ;-)

favorite links! - I've only got a few here. I try to keep these short and sweet. It takes a REALLY cool site to make this site. In my opinion, the featured attraction to this link I've created, is the Dr. Thaddeus Ozone page which is just plain cool, and Laura's Midi Heaven page which has thousands of midi music songs to listen to! Both are high quality sites!
