Windows 95 and Windows 98:
-
Double-click 'My Computer'.

Double-click 'Control
Panel'.
-
Find the Modem icon
and double-click it.
-
On the screen that opens
up, you will see the type of modem you have.
Windows ME:
-
Double-click 'My Computer'.
-
Double-click 'Control
Panel'.
-
If you are unable to
find a 'Modem' icon, look on the panel to the left and
click 'Show All Files' and locate the 'Modem' icon in
the main window.

On the Modem screen,
you will see the type of modem you have.
Windows 2000 and Windows
XP:
-
Double-click My Computer.
-
Double-click Control
Panel.
-
Double-click on 'Phone
and Modem options.'
-
On the Modem screen,
click the "Modem" tab and you will see the type of modem
you have.
After you have determined what brand of modem you have, you can go to your
modem manufacturer's website
and download the updated drivers.
