| Kristin Bay: I am 16 yrs. old, 6'0", and weigh 165 lbs. I first started playing club soccer for Phoenix F.C. in 1995. In '98 I played for the North Texas ODP team. I have played varsity soccer for Tyler Lee my freshman and sophomore years. My freshman year I received 2nd team All District followed by 1st team All District my sophomore year. I play sweeper and center-mid. |
| Katie Braquet:Katie Braquet has been playing soccer since the age of 6 and now 17 plays for the Phoenix F.C. in the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League. Katie has played left defense for Phoenix since she was 12. Katie is also the captain of her varsity cheerleading squad and a captain of her track team. Katie placed first in three hundred hurdles and fifth in one hundred hurdles in the 1999 TAPPS 3A State track meet. Katie is also a member of the National Honor Society and an Honor Roll student at Bishop Gorman High School. Katie plans to continue soccer and track in college. |
| Amber Brumley: I am 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs. I have played soccer for 8 years and played club soccer for 4 yrs. I played in the Arlington league for 3 yrs. with Tsunami and am in my 2nd year with the Phoenix F.C. I have a GPA of 91.5. I have attended Texas A&M soccer camp, and participated 2 years in the area ODP program. I plan to participate this year with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. |
| Lori Cade: From ages 6 - 12 I played in the Tyler recreation league. I played club soccer for Tsunami from age 11 - 15 and have played on the Phoenix since I was 15. I have been on the Tyler Lee varsity since I was a freshman. |
| Kendra Cannon: I am a Junior at Kilgore High School and a starting forward for two years. This is my first season with the Phoenix. My freshman year in high school I was named Newcomer of the year and my sophomore year I was District Offensive MVP. |
| Karmen Cates: I've lived in Tyler all my life, and have played been playing club soccer since I was 6. I started playing club with Phoenix F.C. when I was about 13, and continue to be a part of the team. I attend Robert E. Lee high school, a member of the Lady Raiders varsity team, and am a Junior. I am really excited about the upcoming year and am striving to be an all around better player. I hope to possibly go to college through soccer. |
| Brittany Clements: I was born 4-16-84 in Tyler, Tx. I weigh 135 lbs and am 5'5" tall. I began playing soccer at age 4 and continued playing rec until joining Phoenix F.C. in July 1999. I am a sophomore at Whitehouse High School and look forward to another outstanding year. I was a varsity starter my Freshman year at a defensive position and helped lead the Ladycats to their first 17 AAAA District title. I clinched the 7th round shootout with a goal to beat out reigning champion Kilgore, which lead to winning a First Team All District honor. I recorded 11 goals and 8 assists from my defensive position. I enjoy playing soccer and plan to play in college. |
| Janee Heath: I am 16 yrs. old and started playing soccer when I was 6 years old on the Little Feet. I play for my high school team, Robert E. Lee Red Raiders. I earned a starting spot my freshman and sophomore years and we placed first in district both years. I mainly play midfielder and forward, but sometimes I get a chance to play in the back. My plans for the future are to play soccer in college at Baylor. |
| Sara Hernandez: My name is Sara Hernandez and I'm 15 yrs. old. I started playing soccer when I was eight yrs. old for the Pumas. I currently play for Phoenix and for Robert E. Lee girls varsity. I am a left midfielder. I am left footed, but I'm capable of using both feet. I also was a member of the North Texas ODP my 6th - 8th grade yrs. |
| Leslie Kastrop: I am 16 yrs old and live in Palestine, Tx. I began playing soccer at age 6, playing on a guys recreational team until I was 14, when I joined the Phoenix F.C. I wear #12. I am a forward and back-up goalkeeper. I average 15 goals per season and 10 assists. I have been a varsity starter for the Palestine Wildcats since my Freshman season. I have been All District 4A First Team, All District 4A Offensive MVP, All District 4A Academic, Wildcat Best Offensive Player, Wildcat MVP, and Wildcat Highest GPA. I rank number 3 in my class at Palestine High School in academics. I enjoy playing soccer and hope to continue playing through college. |
| Miranda Logan: I am a 17 yr. old senior at Whitehouse high school and currently serving as captain of the girls' soccer team. In the past few years I have received two All District awards as well as an All Tournament award. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old; this is my first season with Phoenix. My future intentions are to play college soccer and go on to medical school. |
| Tory Mills: I am a Junior at Whitehouse High School. I play midfielder and sometimes forward. My Freshman year I was District Offensive MVP and All District my Sophomore year. This year I was a team captain and again made All District. I have played soccer since I was 7 years old, and this is my 4th year on the Phoenix. I was selected as Captain of Phoenix this season. I am in Honors classes and am on the A-B Honor roll. |
| Jessica Proctor: I am 16 years old, weigh 120 lbs. and am 5'4" tall. I usually play left or right midfield, and am capable of shooting with both feet. I have good endurance and play every position except goalie. This is my second year with Phoenix Futbol Club. My former club teams include East Texas Spirit and Tyler Tsunami. I am a sophomore at Grace Community High School, in honors classes, and on the A honor roll. While Grace does not have girl's soccer, I have played basketball both my freshman and sophomore years. |
| Rebecca Repasky: I have been playing soccer since I was 4 yrs. old. I began playing club when I was 15 with the Longview Legend. I joined the Phoenix this season. I am a Senior at Kilgore High School. I have started in the midfield my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years. I am a captain this year. My sophomore year we were District Champs and I was 2nd team All District. My junior year we were runner up and I was 1st team All District, and I scored 8 goals. |
| Lindsey Velnosky: I began playing soccer when I was eight, and began playing club at age 10 with the Upland Celtics. After moving to Texas I played in the Arlington Classic League with the Tyler Tsunami for 3 years. I played center half and stopper, and was the leading scorer the last two seasons. I began playing with Phoenix a year ago in the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League. In the last year I have 13 goals and 11 assists. I participated 2 seasons in the local ODP program, and have attended numerous soccer camps and clinics. I am 5' 4", weight 120 lbs, and have a "B" average in school. |
| Ronda Wylie: The club teams I have played for include the '81 Tyler Eclipse, U-19 Tyler Streak tournament team, Dallas Magic '82, Longview Legend, and the Tyler Phoenix F.C., currently in the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League Div. 2. In the fall of 1997 I was a forward for East Texas Christian Academy and was voted Best Offensive Player for the season. I participated in the ODP program and in 1995 was in the State Pool for '81 girls and attended Regional Camp. In 1996 I was again in the state pool and attended the Regional Camp at the University of Oklahoma. In 1997 I was in the E. Tx. District team but injuries prevented progression to state pool. I play center midfielder, sweeper, and forward. |
