How It Works
Each league team will consist of 8 players, and 2 alternates. The cost per team is $350. This includes the gun rental, mask rentals, and the air fills for the entire tournament. The only thing that this doesn't include is the paintballs, which you must buy from us for $5 per hundred. You are also guarenteed to play 4 games at the least, but most likely it will be more like 20 games if you don't make it to the play-offs.
If you don't have 8 friends that want to play, just sign up as an individual and we'll stick you on a team. The team captain will be decided by whom has had the most experience playing. For those teams that we make up, we will give the captain the roster and he will be in charge of team meetings and practices. For those teams that know everyone, we will let ya'll choose the captain and when and how you meet. We will overall set the playing schedule, but will try to take into consideration for the players' schedules.
Each team will play two games on the nights that they are out at the field (that way there aren't very many wasted trips). The games will take place about 4 or 5 p.m. during the weekdays, on one set field. Everyone will play on the same field, and if time permits, we may do the best 2 out of 3.
Prizes will depend on the amount of participation. So far, the first place team will get 5 cases of paintballs, plus season passes. That is the minimum prize. If enough people play, we will probably get guns for each player of the winning team. (Tippman '98s)
All of this information is subject to change! We will have a firm setup of how everything will work by the end of March. Every team will receive information about the league.
