The State of Texas }} Know all men by these presents that
County of McLennon }} I WILLIAM EVERHART heir at Law and Son of JAMES E. EVERHART who died in Grayson County Texas in the year of our lord 185_ In consideration of One hundred dollars by me in hand paid by William Grinderstaff of the County of Grayson State aforesaid have bargained & sold and do by these presents sell and convey to him the said Grinderstall all my right title Interest and claim In unto Three hundred and twenty acres of land situated in said County of Grayson State aforesaid Known as the map & records of said Grayson County as the west half of the headright -–640 acres in the name of Samuel Craig Beginning at the South most corner of said Craig -- sa hackberry from which a hackberry -- N24 degrees E 3. Vrs also a bois d arc S. ?80 E 4 vrs. Both marked X. Thence E 950 4/10 vrs. To the SW corner of 320 acre track Taken off of said Craig survey and sold by my father in his life time to one Elija Hall then North 1900 8/10 varas to said Halls North West corner Thence West 950 4/10 varas to the North West corner of said Craig survey a stake and mound there South 1900 8/10 vrs. To the of Beginning for him the said Wm Grinderstall his heirs and assigns to have and to hold all and singular my right title interest and claim as heir at law of my (Dead) Father James E. Everhart in with the foregoing Described tract of land with all and singular the rights and Privileges therunto belonging or in anywise in evident – appertaining to the same.

County of McLennon ]] Before me D. F. Davis Clerk of the District Court of McLennon County Texas personally appeared WILLIAM EVERHART who appears to have executed a certain Deed having date the 26th day of July 1871 and hereto attached and stated that he had executed the same for the consideration and purposed therein stated.
In testimony whereof I hereunto sign my name officially and affix the seal of said District Court at office in Waco this 26th day of July AD 1871.
