Acres: Interest in three tracts of land

Wm Hawkins to Anna Everhart

2 April 1859

I William Hawkins have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Anna Everhart and her heirs forever, for e the consideration of nine hundred and fifty dollars, to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, all the right title interest and claim that William Everhart, conveyed to me which consists in an undivided interest of land in the Estate of Nicholas Everhart decd. in same three tracts of land in Greene County, Tennessee, adjoining the lands of George Kenney John Couch and others, it is intended in this deed to convey all my undivided interest in said Estate __

To have and to hold the same to the Said Anna Everhart, her heirs and assigns forever I do covenant with the said Anna Everhart that I am lawfully seized of Said interest, have a good right to convey it, and that the same is unincumbered I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said claim of land, and every part and parcel of my undivided interest, to the said Anna Everhart, her heirs and assigns forever.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, April 2 day 1859.
