We John W. Lamb and his wife Elizabeth Lamb, formerly Elizabeth Everhart. have this day bargained and Sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Daniel Everhart, James Everhart, Anna Jane Everhart and Anna Everhart and their heirs forever for and in consideration of the Sum of Four hundred Dollars to us in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged, all our undivided interest in a certain tract of land in Greene County Tennessee, the same being the tract of land of which Nicholas Everhart died Seized & possessed, on the waters of Gap Creek in Civil District No. 11, and adjoining the lands of Josiah Kidwell, the lands formerly owned by George Kenny & others. To have and to hold the same to the Said Daniel Everhart, James Everhart, Anna Jane Everhart & Anna Everhart, their heirs and assigns forever. We do covenant with them, that we are lawfully seized of said undivided interest in said tract of land, have a good right to convey it, and that the same is unimcumbered, we do further covenant and bind ourselves to warrant and defend the title to said undivided interest in said tract of land against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
