ETTL Air Quality Assessment Services

ETTL caries out both outdoor and indoor air quality assessments for its clients.

Outdoor Assessments: ETTL is equipped to perform outdoor air sampling using high-volume cassette filters and solvent desorption tubes, especially as a part of environmental site assessments. Outdoor assessments are also carried out in such related applications as soil gas sampling. The ETTL analytical laboratory can perform all necessary identification tests. At right an ETTL technician uses a portable OVM meter (photo-ionization detector) to measure for gasoline vapors.

Indoor Assessments: In this area of increasing concern, ETTL can carry out assessments of air quality in buildings and the workplace, surveying ventilation systems, doing Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) reviews, and holding employee interviews. ETTL staff experts are fully equipped to use National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and/or EPA sampling and analytical methods for various indoor contaminants, such as combustion products, respiration byproducts, organic vapors, particulates, radon and biologicals.
