ETTL Engineering Services
for Highway Projects

In one of a multitude of highway projects, ETTL provided
engineering services during the construction of the above
bridge across Lake Bob Sandlin, near Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

ETTL's many capabilities are available to prime consultants and contractors over a wide region who are carrying out services for governmental highway agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) , the Arkansas Highways and Transportation Department (AHTD), and other like bodies, local and otherwise.

ETTL has TxDOT Precertification in a number of key areas. Click here to see listing.

Not only has ETTL had extensive experience over the years providing engineering and testing services for highway projects, but major ETTL staff members have themselves served on TxDOT's staff, including Doug Flatt, ETTL's President, who served with TxDOT from 1957 to 1965 as a Senior Laboratory Engineer and Senior Resident Engineer, before leaving to found ETTL; and Steve Richards, ETTL's Vice President and Manager of Engineering Services, who served TxDOT as a Design Engineer from 1988 to 1991, when he joined ETTL. Which is to say, the leadership of the Company is highly familiar with TxDOT requirements.

The box immediately below will lead you to three lists of testing procedures ETTL's Construction Materials Engineering (CME) group is set up to routinely perform as required by highway construction projects. Just below the box are brief summaries of the highway-oriented capabilities of ETTL's CME and other engineering service groups, including links to in-depth information about those services, as well as links to ETTL staff members who can discuss them with you in detail.
